Meet Dr. Shannon Herbert, PhD, RD, CDN, RYT
Dr. Shannon Herbert, PhD, RD, CDN, RYT is a registered dietitian and yoga instructor with Laura Cipullo Whole Nutrition & Yoga, specializing in eating disorders and women’s hormonal health. Shannon is also an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Nutrition and Food Studies at New York University Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. With a unique approach that blends her yoga expertise with specialized training in Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO-DBT) and Polyvagal Theory, Shannon empowers clients to reclaim their relationships with food and their bodies.

Laura Cipullo, RD, CDCES, CEDS, RYT is the founder and CEO of Laura Cipullo Whole Nutrition & Yoga. Laura is a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist, Certified Eating Disorder Registered Dietitian Supervisor, 500-hour Advanced Yoga Teacher and four-time author. Laura’s approach combines her credentialed expertise in nutrition, behavioral change, the endocrine system, and psychology. Laura's approach is grounded in evidence-based scientific principles. While she teaches eating organic, sustainable foods the majority of the time, she believes “all foods fit”. Her clients love her compassionate, mindful, ‘wholistic’ approach to positive nutrition and her motto, “Eat Kale and Cupcakes™!”
